As some may have noted, it has been a while since we have updated our blog. We apologize for that, but some other matters have been a little more pressing at Pure Offroad. After some time we realized that if we truly wanted to grow we needed to change ecommerce platforms. So after much deliberation and tactical planning to minimize any negative impact on SEO; we finally made the switch just before Christmas of 2008. The migration from the old system into the new is finally complete. We can already see improvements and look forward to utilizing many tools included in our new ecommerce package. Most of the improvements are primarily administrative, however site usability has improved as we are now able to customize a little easier. We have also noticed the new site has faster response times when searching which makes it all the better for those of us who are used to high speeds and impatient with slow loading pages. The third of the four newly released atv tires by GBC (Greenball Corporation) is the Dirt Commander. The Dirt Commander is one of the few 8 ply atv tires available on the market. Many people have compared the Dirt Commander to the Terra Cross tires by Itp. If you compare the two the tread pattern is quite similar, both tires feature a wrap-around shoulder lug, although Gbc’s tire is an 8 ply while the Terra Cross is only a 6 ply. The Terra Cross is also a radial tire where as the Dirt Commander is a bias-ply. The Dirt Commander is described by Gbc as follows: “GBC Motorsports Performance ATV tires are built to get you over tough terrains to your destination. Dirt Commander, GBC’s new all terrain tire, is a super tough 8-ply rated bias tire that gives you excellent puncture resistance.
