Yes, you should be able to replace your stock tires with 1″ larger in height without any problems.

It was quite steep where we dropped off the back side of this mountain so rather than try to climb back out and go home the way we came in, we decided to try and go out a different way which led us right into this river. We were too far along going in a different direction to turn around and go back. Its fun to laugh about now…

Haha, what an unfortunate story. Couldn’t you have just gone back up the ridge? I guess I would have to see it, I don’t fully understand the story and your predicament.
